Direct Lending Investments Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used and disclosed by Direct Lending Investments, LLC and its subsidiaries and affiliates as may exist from time to time (collectively, “DLI,” “we” or “us”). The Privacy Policy applies to information we collect when you use our DIRLEND.COM website (the “Site”) and other online products and services that link to this Privacy Policy, such as the DLI Investor Portal, (collectively, the “Services”). This Policy does not apply to any information in available to clients within any third-party’s website, which may be governed by a separate agreement.

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time.  If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you an email notification).  We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you access the Services, the Site or otherwise interact with us to stay informed about our information practices and the ways you can help protect your privacy.  By continuing to make use of the Site, you agree to these changes.

Information We Collect

We may collect and store information that you voluntarily choose to provide to us while on the Site or when using our Services, such as when you create an account. This includes information you electronically submit when you contact us with questions and unique identifiers such as user name and password.

We also collect and store information that is generated automatically as you navigate through the Site and Services.  For example, we log information about your use of the Site and Services, which may include the type of browser you use, access times, pages viewed, your IP address, location and the page you visited before navigating to our Services. We may also use standard features found in browser software called “cookies” and “web beacons” to enhance your experience on the Site or Services, gather general statistical data, or track the performance of our e-mail marketing communications over time.

We use Google Analytics as an analytics provider. To learn more about the privacy policy of Google Analytics, refer to Google's Policies and Principles. Use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent analytics information from being sent to Google Analytics.

Use of Information

We may use information about you for various purposes, including to:

  • Provide, maintain and improve our Site and Services
  • Provide and deliver the Services and other services you request, process transactions and send you related information, including investment information, private placement memoranda, other offering documents, confirmations and invoices
  • Respond to your comments, questions and requests and provide customer service
  • Communicate with you about products, services, offers, and events offered by DLI, and provide news and information we think will be of interest to you
  • Monitor and analyze trends, usage and activities in connection with our Site and Services
  • Detect, investigate and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities and protect the rights and property of DLI and others
  • Carry out any other purpose described to you at the time the information was collected

Information Sharing

We will never sell your information to any third parties.We may share your personal information with the applicable investment fund (the “Fund”),and our current and future parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and other companies under comment control and ownership. We may also share such information with our third-party service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf, such as to send you our HTML-formatted e-mail messages.

We may occasionally release information about visitors if required to do so by law or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is reasonably necessary: (a) to comply with legal process; (b) to investigate fraud; (c) to respond to a government request; or (d) if we believe your actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or policies, or to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of DLI, you or others. We may also share your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company; and with your consent or at your direction.  DLI may share aggregated or de-identified information, which cannot reasonably be used to identify you.


DLI takes reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.
